Los jugadores de Tekken 8 en PC ahora pueden disfrutar de una experiencia visual aún más impresionante gracias a un nuevo mod creado por «xowny». El mod mejora la fidelidad gráfica del juego más allá de la configuración «ultra» original, utilizando una serie de técnicas avanzadas.
El mod mejora la fidelidad gráfica más allá de la configuración «ultra» mediante varios cambios:
- Oclusión ambiental GTAO: Esta técnica usa información de cuadros anteriores para cálculos más precisos, especialmente en escenas con movimiento. Es más avanzada que la oclusión ambiental SSAO (que solo usa el cuadro actual).
- Filtrado anisotrópico 16x: Logra texturas más nítidas y detalladas, especialmente desde ángulos oblicuos o a distancia.
- Reflejos SSR a resolución completa: Se muestrea la escena a la resolución total de la pantalla para reflejos más precisos y detallados.
- SSS a resolución completa: El «subsurface scattering» (dispersión bajo la superficie) ahora se calcula a la misma resolución que la imagen final para mayor realismo.
- Eliminador de ruido de sombras: Reduce el parpadeo, artefactos y otros problemas de ruido en las sombras.
- Cálculo asíncrono: Puede acelerar el renderizado en escenas complejas, distribuyendo la carga de trabajo entre CPU y GPU de forma más eficiente.

El mod está diseñado para jugadores que tienen un PC potentes, ya que las mejoras visuales pueden exigir un hardware considerable.
Este nuevo mod se suma a la lista de mods disponibles para Tekken 8, que incluyen un mod de superposición que se lanzó para la versión de demostración del juego y que habilitaba la tecnología Lumen de UE5, desbloqueaba los FPS del juego, añadía aumento de escala y más.
